About Renus
A home for type — to find it, make it and share it.
Renus is an open font library, a type design studio that runs in your browser, and a community of people who care about letters. It's bilingual from day one, in English and Kurdish.

Why we built Renus
Good typefaces shape how a language looks and feels — on signs, in books, on every screen. Yet finding quality fonts with the right license is often confusing, and designing a typeface has meant expensive desktop software and a steep learning curve.
We built Renus to make both easier. Every library font is free to use and clearly licensed. The Font Studio puts real Bézier drawing, metrics, kerning and export into a browser tab, so anyone can start drawing letters in minutes and invite others to work alongside them.
And because type is better made together, designers can publish their work, build a profile, get feedback and follow each other — especially for scripts and languages that the big foundries overlook.
